Posted by Josie on November 9th, 2008 under Gallery Updates, Incendiary, News & Rumours, Wendy and Lucy

I added 67 screencaps from the Incendiary trailer. The movie is playing in select theaters in the UK right now. I hope it comes to the US soon!

Bad news for Michelle’s teen fans: The MPAA will be giving Wendy and Lucy an R rating, even though the movie doesn’t contain nudity or violence. Read more about it here.

After reading today’s story about photographic harassment maybe Michelle would be interested in the following proposal. How difficult would it be to regulate the paparazzi? Every camera toting fortune hunter that regularly sells photographs to the media for a living should have any and all cameras they own licenced and fitted with remote controlled shutter locks. If you feel a particular individual or group is harassing you and can prove it in a court of law with photographic or video evidence, you would request their licence number and corresponding shutter locking software be downloaded into your hand held remote control. The next time you felt a camera lens intruding, you press your remote and freeze their camera for whatever period of time you require. Given the real danger to your safety these people can pose, the media should agree to publish pictures from regular contributors only if they have the appropriate licence.
Surely legislation making it an offence to operate an unlicensed camera for the purpose of photographing people in public places for commercial gain would not be too difficult to achieve.
